The Lack of Basic Surgical Services in Developing Countries

Solventas Surgical Alliance June 15 Fundraiser

The Lack of Basic Surgical Services in Developing Countries

Global health experts all agree that essential, life saving surgery is the “missing piece” of healthcare in developing countries. Injuries treatable by surgery alone account for more deaths worldwide than HIV, TB and Malaria combined.

Solventas Surgical Alliance is pleased to announce fundraising efforts to construct its next surgical facility in the developing world, the country of Malawi. This fund raising effort will kickoff with an event on June 15th.

Throughout our entire organization as well as our partner organizations we have available resources to dramatically impact this world wide problem. We have supplies, surgeons, nurses, etc. standing willing and ready to assist. We just need the facilities to accommodate their skills and willingness to help.

Donations are being accepted prior to and after the event. 100% of the proceeds are tax deductible and will go toward the development of this surgical facility. Construction is expected to begin before the end of this year. To donate follow the instructions in this link: https://solventas.org/donate/.
